About Jack

Jack Murray is a Master Personal Trainer who has accrued over 10,000 hours of practical training experience. He is originally from Scotland and moved to Whistler in 2016. Since then he has been very active in the local health and fitness industry and has developed a great local reputation.

Jack’s passion is about helping people to be the best versions of themselves they can be. He leaves no stone un-turned in his constant strive for self-improvement and so he takes a very holistic approach to health and fitness. Jack has a wide variety of knowledge and skills and utilizes all of these with his clients.

From weight training to yoga, nutrition coaching, mindfulness practice, and connective tissue release, he makes sure you get all you need to both feel and look amazing. 

Jack’s services go far beyond being a trainer and he supports his clients 100%. He is proud of the fact that he will go above and beyond for anyone working with him and pours his heart into everything he does.

Overcoming the challenge of change can be the hardest thing.

I have spent years stuck in a negative feedback loop, Where each day seems the same. No matter what I did, I couldn’t seem to change my mental state.

Well, that mental shift only takes one moment. One moment of inspiration that can achieve a paradigm shift in how you perceive yourself and the world.

My Mission is to help others achieve that paradigm shift.

I want to use my knowledge and experience to guide people through the pitfalls both physical and mental so they can achieve long term change for the better.

    I took part in Jack's 8 week challenge summer 2019 and started with quite low expectations of myself and my ability to keep disciplined.

    From the offset however, Jack filled me with hope and enthusiasm about how this wasnt going to be as hard to do as I would think and that I would have the support of both himself and my fellow challengers to keep us all going.

    I really enjoyed our early morning weekly workout (which is something I never thought I'd say!). Jack organized a workout plan which challenged everyone in the room but allowed for variations depending on our varying ability levels. Also everyone got tips and guidance during that 1 hour workout which I really appreciated.

    What really struck me is that whenever I was in the gym independently jack always came for a chat and checked on how we were doing. On a few occasions he would even come over to slightly correct my form which I found so helpful, and really above and beyond as I was not paying him for that one on one time in that moment.

    I ended the 8 week challenge coming second place and feeling AMAZING about myself. Since then I have left the country but Jack's programme has made a lasting impact on me and kept me enthusiastic about excercise and healthy eating.

    He's honestly amazing. Full of enthusiasm, encouragement and knowledge on how you can achieve your results.

    I would take part in the online challenge but I'm unemployed right now so on a pretty tight budget! I am still working out quite a lot though and have noticed my abs are a little bit defined for the first time ever! Hope all is ok with you and things are getting back to normal!

    I was nervous about getting a personal trainer, I didn’t want someone yelling at me to do 5 more burpees! Jack is an incredibly motivating and considerate personal trainer. I worked with him for almost a year and he totally transformed my body and my relationship with the gym!

    Jack is an excellent teacher and motivator, he always made me feel comfortable in the gym. He taught me technique and form and was always aware of how much I could do in a day. He tailors every workout specifically for my goals and made it work within my schedule.

    He worked with me and my needs to make sure every change was sustainable and appropriate to my goals. Educating me each step of the way so I always felt comfortable and confident. I never suffered or went hungry but I put on a lot of muscle and lost a lot of fat. Now going forward I have all the tools I need to maintain it.
